Completely determined to keep up my blogging this summer.
I need to start writing more, even if it's needless BS or not.
 Yesterday I went to the beach with Tommy, Jonah, Maia, Malia, and Eric. I've only been to Hueneme Beach a couple of times so it was really nice. I played in the water with Jonah and he got SOAKED even though he wasn't supposed to because he wasn't wearing his bathing suit. It was definitely a nice adventure during the day. Being around my younger family members always helps put things in perspective for me. It reminds me how I want to be a role model for them and it makes me reevaluate choices that I make in my daily life.
After the beach, I took Jonah and Tommy home. Valerie picked me up for our dinner date and we went to BJs but then we realized we both weren't hungry so we split an appetizer and talked for hours. I'm sure the waitress loved us. Valerie has always been one of my best female friends. That's a rare thing to find. We've been through a lot (a lot of boys especially, haha) but she has always been there for me. I'm excited for this summer and for next year at school because Val and I can go back to hanging out with each other every day and it would be super amazing if she tried out for DC and we had the chance to dance together again. After the dinner, Val and I were super bored and wanted to do SOMETHING so I texted Alwyn and we went over to Jerico's house to chill with him and his friends. It was a fun chill night.. A good start to summer in Oxnard. |
